A serious problem with all worthwhile organizations is the dearth of volunteers to carry on the fundamental activities necessary to survival. These selfless individuals bring continuity to our traditional gatherings and the communications that support them, such as creation of our Newsletters and management of our web site content.
The editorial tasks require solid writing and some computer skills, other Board tasks require mainly organization and management capabilities. None of the jobs require more than a few hours a week, with generally very flexible hours. Current incumbents will be delighted to share the duties while training replacements.
