- 79, of Linwood, New Jersey, passed away on September 14th, 2015 Born in Philadelphia, he was a career Air Force Officer and retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel. Henry is survived by his wife Evelyn Heward; daughters, Judith Heward and Audrey Honeycutt; son, Christopher Heward; step-son, Sheldon Goodman; and brother, Richard Heward. Services were private at the family's request. Contributions in Henry's memory may be made to Beth El Synagogue, 500 N. Jerome Ave., Margate, NJ 08402.

Subject: Hank Heward
       I may have missed it in the 55SRA news, but I just received the latest MOAA
magazine and it had Henry W. Heward  LT. COL New Jersey. Hank was a R1 in
Standboard  in 1970 at Offutt and recommended me to replace him as he went
PCS. Not sure if he was a 55SRA member. One thing I am sure of was Hank
ranked right up there as one of the top characters I ever met.

Hank was on my crew in Stand-board before I went to staff and pcs to Shemya circa 1969-1970 time frame.
