Subject: Lt Col Ray L Mull
It is with sadness I report that this morning about 9:30am, Lt Col Ray L. Mull made his journey west. Ray was 91 years old Born in 1923 and served with the U.S. Airforce being a Fighter Pilot flying P 51 Mustangs with the  343rd Fighter Squadron, 55th Fighter Group out of Wormingsford England during WWII. Lynn (as we called him) was shot down on 13th mission and became a POW in Stalag1 in Barth Germany.
Lynn was known as one who was always being helpful to those who needed his help, and this is his sort of legacy he left to other people who remember him. Ray was one of the firsdt 100 people who joined EAA, he also headed up the Air Scouts locally and was an EAA Tech Counselor. Aviation was a passion for him and we all have benefited in some way form his generosity.
He will be missed by his family and friends
General Urschler, would you please advise those who would need to know in the 55th circle. I thank you.
